Boarding

Boarding services are temporarily unavailable to new clients while I am over capacity with foster dogs.

Perhaps one of the most difficult things about having a behaviorally challenging dog is finding a place for them to stay while you’re away.

I am pleased to offer boarding services. This is a perfect option for dogs who prefer to not deal with the stress of other dogs or a loud kennel. Your dog will have their own private room in my safe and comfortable home. You can experience true peace of mind knowing that your dog is in the loving hands of a certified professional dog trainer who also has experience as a veterinary technician.

Dogs boarding with me really enjoy prancing through the giant fields surrounding my home on a long line. We may have a game of fetch, go for nice walk, or just hang out and relax, whatever your dog prefers. They enjoy special one on one time in a very safe environment. Additionally, they receive daily in-kennel enrichment.

For your pet's safety, when your dog is out with me, the other dogs are relaxing in their kennels, and vice versa. Unless they are members of the same household, they are cared for separately at all times. They will not see or interact with any other dogs.

Availability is limited. To qualify for my boarding services, your dog should be able to stay comfortably in a crate or a 10x10 kennel room. Dogs with any type of confinement anxiety or separation anxiety do not qualify for boarding services. Fearful, aggressive, or reactive dogs need to have started training with myself or another force-free dog trainer to qualify for boarding. Dogs may be required to do a one day trial prior to boarding stay. Some exceptions may apply. Please get in touch for more details.
